Fantastic turnout for ILCA Open meeting

It was great to see so many Bartley sailors at the ILCA (yes, that's what we need to legally call what were formerly Lasers) Grand Prix event on Sunday. We had some Open meeting veterans and some taking part in their first event - which must have been quite daunting with 42 boats on the start line! The Bartley team had great success overall with first and second ILCA 7, second ILCA 6, and first ILCA 4. Some of the Bartley team posted some great individual results too with Tom Williams and Richard Baker getting to the front end of the fleet with a 4th and 3rd in races 1 and 3 respectively. Thanks to all 22 club sailors for supporting the day, we hope you enjoyed it and will be back for more. Next up is Burton SC on Saturday, Ogston on Sunday with Draycote and Shustoke the weekend after - busy times!
