4.13 Boat Ownership and Boat Park Rules All privately owned boats including paddle craft in the boat park, storage containers or elsewhere withing the club grounds require an associated club membership and must pay the relevant space fee regardless of membership type.
4.13.1 The Committee has the right to move boats to different slots if reasonably required for the effective management of the boat park. Where possible, this will be done in consultation with you.
4.13.2 Lapsed / non-renewing members agree to remove their boat(s)/craft and/or trailer within one month of the expiry of their membership.
4.13.3 Members understand and accept that after one month a TORT process will begin and the boat or boats will be moved to the top of the boat park and treated as abandoned as per clause 10 in the full RSC Boat Park / Trailer Compound conditions as displayed on the RSC website.
4.13.4 Members will maintain current boat/craft insurance as required by the club for each and every boat owned in full or in part at Bartley SC, other than boats specifically owned, insured and maintained by the club itself.
4.13.5 Members agree to keep their boats/craft suitably secured against both flooding and high winds. In addition, the boat park space is to be kept tidy and free from hazards.
4.13.6 Members agree that storage of their boats, craft and/or trailers in the boat park, containers and trailer compound is entirely at their own risk.
