ILCA sailors take top spots at Barnt Green

A large contingent from Bartley set off to the Barnt Green Laser / ILCA Open meeting. John, George, Les, Richard, Josh, Stuart, Kerry with Ollie split in loyalties between Bartley and Barnt Green were all there! The event was yet another light wind event favouring those with honed drifting skills. The Bartley team gained the top spots with John taking the win from George and Josh only missing out on a top three due to a potentially questionable call in race 1 (every days a schools day - that mistake won't be made again :)). Well sailed all, those who didn't find the sailing particularly enthrawling clearly enjoyed the refreshments! Next event is Trimpley at the beginning of October - will it be light wind again or will some wind finally arrive for an Open meeting? We can but hope!
