SUP/SAILING Relay Racing

Fusions and paddle boards relay race consisting of 5 teams of 4 (2 sailors & 2 paddlers). The target duration of the race being around 1hr.

Two courses will be laid - one for sailors and one for SUP. A start line will be set and the sailors will go first, followed by a paddler, then the second sailer & finally the second paddler with the sailing start line being the finish line for the paddler.

Hand over between sailors and paddlers will either be on one of the slipways or the jetty between slipways. Care will be taken in the setting of the sailing course such that they approach on a reach in order to ensure maximum control of the boat approaching the handover point.

Each team will have a baton to hand over.

Food / Social to be held in the galley afterwards
