Albacore Update

Four boats from Bartley SC competed at the Albacore Nationals and European events in early August at Pwllheli , we had some great sailing and all learned loads about the boats and the fleet.

The sailors were

The Europeans were held on a single day due to the deteriorating weather forecast, Matt Biggs and Mark Fowler came 3^rd and Ian Clarke and Tom Kenward won the team prize.

The Bartley boats will be going to the southern championships at Weymouth on the 4^th and 5^th Sep and following that the Albacore association demo boat will be at Bartley SC for a month to allow people to try out and race if they want to.
