ILCA Regional Training Group Training

Olympian Alison Young was at the club over the weekend of the 10th and 11th December to train the ILCA 4 RYA regional Training Group. A great day was had on the water on the Saturday followed by a rather foggy Sunday!

To learn more about selection for the RTGs (Optimist, Topper, RS Feva, ILCA4) then take a look at the RYA website. The training is over the winter at different Midlands clubs, usually comprising 6 weekends. The programme is designed to take junior / youth sailors from being able to sail a course to becoming a competitive sailor nationally.
