Defi Wind - Bartley Blasts forward!

Bartley's very own speed demon Tim took the trip to France for some full on days of 40kt windsurfing weather - tales of huge gusts, 37mph speeds, putting his foot through a French man's 4.5m sail & meeting the legend Bjorn Dunkerbeck.
From his usual quiver of 6 to 8m sails for Bartley Tim found himself amongst 1300 other windsurfers in monster winds trying out his 5m sail! Even this was too big with his mate ending up in A&E with a dislocated shoulder. As Tim sat out on the shore a friendly French windsurfer insisted he used his 4.5m sail and got back out there. Tim took a little persuading, informed his new friend that there was a distinct possibility he would break it, and he did! 200 m from the finish line he wiped out smacked his ribs on the boom and went through the sail - but in true grit style waterstarted and made it through the line.
The GPS indicated a top speed of 80.4mph but we think it may have taken a bit of damage on the way!
