Albacore & Merlin Open Meeting

Bartley Sailing Club implements the RYA Racing Charter and helms are required to undertake to sail in compliance with the Charter, details of which can be found at the front of the RYA Rule Book (Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028). Racing will take place under the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of the RYA, the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.

The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the owner/competitor racing the boat. Competitors are reminded of World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) Rule 3, which states: “The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone”.

I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing, and by all other rules governing this event. I undertake to sail in compliance with the RYA Racing Charter. I confirm that the above Boat and Helm have insurance cover to Third Party of £3,000,000 and I confirm that I have read and accept the sailing instructions.
