Thursday evening - round 2

A forecast of little to no wind wasn't enough to put off the 10 boats out this Thursday.   In truth, on arrival, all were greated by far more than was forecast.... but those that sail often on a Thursday evening should have known better than to be fooled by the early evening breeze.

Once everyone had launched, the breeze promptly switched off.  This didn't stop Messrs Knight & Knight building a commanding lead ..... again ! This time John proving he's no slouch on the stick, followed in by Andrew in the Blaze & Colin in the Supernova.

A good mix of fleets out again tonight, with 6 different classes taking the top 6 spots!  The 400 fleet grew a little tonight, with 4 boats out, Richard followed his 1st 400 last week, with 2nd 400 this week.

With hot food & beer to great the returning fleet, talk quickly turned to the upcoming 400 open this Sunday, and the rather daunting (for me anyway) forecast..... !

Once again, a big thank you to John Ling for stepping in to be RO

Hope to see you all at the AGM on Saturday & the 400 fleet for the open meeting on Sunday.

Bartley SC hosts the RS400 Southern Tour opener !
Thursday night opener!
